Main Street was started in 1986 with the goal of offering full service finance broking to its clients. Main Street has always had the focus of making sure the client’s needs are looked after in the best way possible. We have been doing it for over 20 years and plan to do it for at least 20 more.

John Bishop
John Bishop started Main Street Financial Services in 1986 after a long career as a district commercial manager of the Commercial Bank of Australia and later Westpac. He was, and still is the driving force behind Main Street and has expertise ranging from residential mortgages to multi storey office developments. His forte is Construction and Development finance and has the skills and abilities that only comes from personal experience.

Simon Bishop
Simon Bishop had been associated with Main Street Financial Services as far back as 1991. After completing a degree in Accounting and Post Graduate studies in financial markets he spent 7 years in treasury at ANZ. Needing a new challenge Simon came back to Main Street Financial Services in 2002. Specializing in residential owner occupied and investment finance he can structure the right kind of loan for your residential or investment property.

Peter Lonsdale
Peter Lonsdale joined Main Street Financial Services in July 2008 with over 30 years of banking experience. Peter was with CBA for 22 years, before more recently being a business banking manager with Bendigo Bank for 8 years. His forte is commercial and business finance along with residential and investment property mortgages.
